Many travelers go from Dubrovnik to Mostar, then to Zenica and Tuzla, and finish with Sarajevo because the city offers a direct bus route back to Dubrovnik for those flying out of that airport.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a beautiful nation with plenty to see and do during a visit. Apparition Hill is a stunning religious site, as is il Monte Della Croce. The War Childhood Museum is worth a visit to appreciate the cost of the recent conflict on the nation’s youth, and Mehmed Pasa Sokolvic Bridge is always worth visiting. In Mostar, the Old Bridge area is replete with historic architecture, and in Sarajevo, the City Hall is worth exploring.
British nationals will not need a visa to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, this is only valid for periods of no more than 90 days within six months of the first date of visit (three months within a six-month period). However, you will need a passport to enter the country. It must have at least three months of validity beyond the date of entry into the country.
